The work that makes us free
The Holocaust is one of the darkest moments in world history. Systematically the Nazi’s gathered together, tortured and murdered about 6 million European Jews and a total of 11 to 17 million people altogether. These murders were not in battle. Many of them took place in Concentration Camps with infamous names such as Treblinka, and Auschwitz. As Germany was defeated and the Concentration Camps were liberated, the condition of the survivors was noted with revulsion and anger. This is what remains of the terror of the Holocaust in a few moments frozen many years after.
