The Amphex is a training event which aims at training of crews, in particular the commanders and staff, Naval units to deal with naval and amphibious operations in support of third countries where there is an internal conflict between Government and part of the population, organized opposition movement.
Situations, which, in fact, relate to the reality of developing countries living problems of internal conflict, of popular dissent more often than not is sedated with the use of force perpetrated by Government forces against demonstrators “anti-Government”.
